Ever played out something and then later wondered "What if?" Ever wondered what it'd be like to play your character a different way, but didn't feel like making a full thing dedicated to it? Now's your chance to play it out!

Using RNG you'll roll 1-3 for the level of the change, and 1-6 for the change itself, or if you want, pick your own based on what you wanted to do.

1)  Small Change: The flap of a butterfly's wings can cause tsunami's on the other side of the world.

-1: "A minute too late"- What if you missed something by a minute, or more? You missed the big meeting, the girl, helping that person, all because you were too late, what happens next?
-2: "The nick of time"- Just like the first, only that instead of missing something you got, that if you got something you missed because you were either too late, or just messed up? Congratulations! Let's just hope it's what you really wanted.
-3: "A little too early"- One more, what if you showed up early? It's suppose to be a good thing, is it this time?
-4: "The other choice"- You had two choices, left or right, heads or tails, Coke or Pepsi, now you get to see what would have happened with the other choice.
-5: "Oops!"- You slipped up, and made a mistake. Is it bad, or a blessing in disguise?
-6: Wild card/Pick your own- Thought of a slight change that'd make all the difference, or had one you wanted to play? Here's your chance.

2)  Medium Change: Didn't really see that coming, did you?

-1: Turning point change- That one thing that would have turned things in your favor went against you, and vice versa. How will you handle this critical change?
-2: "A Razor's edge"- That one moment that could have went either way has gone the opposite way of before. Is this a good thing, or a bad thing?
-3: Crossroads- You reached a point in your life where you had several choices before you, now's the time to go down another road and see where it leads.
-4: The Road less traveled- "Two roads diverged in the woods, and I took the one less traveled" Will it make all the difference?
-5: Interference- Something blocked you from getting something you were going for. What do you do once the moment is gone?
-6: Wild Card/Pick your own-Thought of a medium change that'd make all the difference, or had one you wanted to play? Here's your chance.

3)  Large Change: Why do all the people here have goatee's?

-1: Good/Evil- Use to be a good guy? Welcome to the dark side, here's your cookie. Former bad guy? Hand over the cookie tray and join the side of good. How will the change of moral compass change you?
-2: A different person- You're now a completely different person, literally. Are you taller? Shorter? A robot? A pony? Powers? No powers? Your call.
-3: The other sex- Rule!63 is in effect. Now how does this effect your relationships with the other?
-4: A change in history- Something that happened in the past now has completely change or is now gone. One domino toppling the rest. Now that you've changed your past, how will it effect your future?
-5: Giving up- You walked away from something important to you? Do you regret it? Are you happy?

"I have a particular set of skills. And I'll use em all to do just that." Duo laughed lightly and reached for his coffee, reminded about it when he caught Wufei drinking out the corner of his eye. He sipped and typed with one hand.

[ << I know you do. But you'll realise when we get there. He's not mad, Quat. But we've definitely got something to say. So keep your day clear. You'll need it. >> ]

He wasn't going to ruin Wufei's fun. But he wasn't going to be a complete asshole either. Quatre was his friend after all.

[ << I'll talk with you when I get there, Quat. >> ]

She giggled, taking another long sip. "A very, very useful set of skills, in a wide variety of areas. Might just have to get you some white armor for Christmas," she teased.

[ He never comes out to see us. Trowa and I have cleared our whole week. ] Which was actually longer than Wufei and Duo were supposed to be staying, and he assumed that whatever happened, he was going to need some recovery time.

Duo got all of ten minutes of peace before there was another text. [ Find out if he's been reading Chinese tabloids or social media for me? There are some very strange rumors circulating, or my Chinese is worse than I thought. ]

Duo laughed lightly. "I never did suit white..."

He looked down to see the text saying they had the whole week and almost laughed. Well at least Quatre could give himself a forced vacation and relax for that week. As best he could at least.

He'd just finished his coffee when the second text came through. It was almost time for boarding to start so he gave it a quick glance and bit back a sigh. Shit. Now what?

"Well, you're stuck with it for rushing in to save me. A knight in shining white armor, come to rescue the damsel in distress," she replied lightly. She wasn't fond of the damsel in distress trope, but it had been true enough.

[ Some of it's contradictory. The only consistent thing is that a Gundam Pilot is betrothed to his wife, but it doesn't sound like they mean him. There's talk about concubines, and some sort of an imperial decree? It's very confusing and I assume mostly false. ]

"I prefer the badass black knight come to rain down terror on the bastards who dared to imprison and lay hands on his friend." Duo replied with a wide smile. He wasn't anyone so pure he deserved to be in white. And Wufei was never a damsel in distress. She could have caused her own wave of destruction if she hadn't been tied up.

[ << That's what they're saying, huh... >> ]

Duo blinked down at his phone and considered mentioning this to Wufei... But would then have to explain why he was texting Quatre. And then would have to face the fact that he was the one to ruin her good mood. So no. No he didn't say anything to her.

But to Quatre...

[ << Mostly bullshit. But not all. We'll talk later. About to get on the plane now. Keep an eye on those tabloids... I wanna know who the hell to blow up. >> ]

She laughed warmly at that, finishing off her coffee and offering her hand for his cup. "It's almost time to board, if yours is empty I'll go toss them for us," she offered lightly.

[ I've got copies of everything stashed away. Have a safe flight, and there'll be a car waiting when you land. ]

He knocked back the last few drops and handed over his empty cup with a smile of thanks. "Guess it's time to get a move on then." He laughed, but stopped when his phone chirped again.

Duo looked down at the message and smiled a bit before shoving his phone back in his pocket. This time he didn't mind mentioning Quatre. "Just had a text off of Quat. Says there'll be a car waiting for us when we land. Wanna make a bet on how long the limo is?"

She hummed in agreement, taking the cups to a nearby trash can and tossing them out before returning to take her bag again. "At least three windows," she replied with a little shake of her head. "Do you think they'll be in it? Because if they are, it goes up to five windows."

They called the first class cabin, so she waited for him to get to his feet, and led him over to the gate, handing the agent both their tickets.

"Good question. He didn't say he'd be waiting just he'd have a car waiting. That doesn't mean much. The guys as excitable as a puppy. No guarantee he won't be there to bounce around and hug us." Duo was on his feet and laughing, talking as he let Wufei lead him to the gate.

Once they were let through and directed to their seats, Duo stowed his bag and once again dropped down into a chair. Only this one was a hell of a lot more plush and comfortable.

"I never did like flying commercial. But my ass is happy about it." He joked, more than happy to kick back and relax for a few hours until the stress of meeting with Quatre tired him out.

She hummed in agreement, getting their roll out of her bag before stowing it next to his and settling in the seat next to his with a grin. "It certainly beats being stuck in a jump seat for six hours," she agreed. She was a grown woman, but the first class seats still dwarfed her in a way that was nearly comical.

Thankfully it didn't stop the hostess from offering them both a flute of champagne as they waited for the rest of the plane to board, and she accepted hers with an easy smile. "He's going to hem and haw about coming the whole time we're in the air, and about ten minutes before the limo has to leave he's going to decide to jump in it, I bet," she said with a grin. "Trowa will pretend to be annoyed, but he thinks it's cute."

Duo waved off the hostess, he didn't much like champagne and he especially didn't like to drink while flying. Whether he was the pilot or the passenger. Later he might make their hair curl and as for a Dr Pepper or Mountain Dew or something but for now he was happy as he was.

"Trowa is a damn Saint and has the patience of one." Duo grinned. He did love Quat. He was a good friend. But even he could only take him in small doses sonetimes, especially when he got overly excited about a thing. And be could be damn cute. And damn scary in equal measure.

"It'll be fine. Whether be meets us or not, I think it'll get a better reaction if he does. Seeing you walking off the plane'll be something he'd wont forget in a hurry"

She hummed in agreement, sipping at her drink and stretching her legs out as people shuffled past. "Well, when you love someone, all their most annoying traits become their most endearing, don't they?" she chuckled, let out a little sigh. "I hated Wufei at first, but by the end... I wish my feelings for him hadn't snuck up on me like that, that I'd recognized them before it was too late," she sighed, letting her gaze drift to Duo, soft smile on her lips. "Though I suppose it can feel like a blade either way, can't it?"

"Heh, I suppose that's true." Duo shifted to face forward and stretched his own long legs out before hunting for the button that would reclined the seat a bit. Once he was comfortable enough he closed his eyes.

"I'm sorry it happened like that. I wish things could have been different for you guys..." He lifted his arms and folded them behind his head then gave a quiet laugh. "A blade... Yeah that sound about right." though a ticking time bomb could also be accurate.

"I'll be careful with it," she promised softly, and tried to make herself relax for the rest of the trip. She didn't do a very good job of it, and when she got out the cinnamon roll an hour or so later, she shredded her portion of the poor thing before she ate it. She almost wished she'd brought her gun, just so she could spend an hour or two cleaning it on the flight, but she knew it wasn't practical.

And she didn't know why she was so goddamn nervous. It was starting to piss her off, and she huffed softly as she shifted in her seat for the millionth time.

Eventually Duo couldn't quite take the fidgeting. Wufei wasn't saying anything so he figured that he'd have to be the one to do it. So he shifted around in his seat so he was facing her and couldn't help smiling as he peered around the edge of the seat.

"With all the love and respect in the world, what the hell is wrong with you? You've not stopped wriggling since you sat down. You wanna switch seats? If that one's uncomfortable...?" That probably wasn't what was going on but his tone was very much teasing.

She blinked at him, flushing darkly and bursting into a tiny fit of nervous laughter. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, it's just..." she sighed, slouching in her seat. "It's stupid," she warned him, casting her gaze to the ceiling. "But his goddamn Space Heart thing terrifies me. He knows things he's got no right knowing, and I was constantly worried he'd find me out and now that I've nothing to hide I've nowhere to direct all this nervous energy I used to channel into concealing my emotions. Also, It's stupid," and it made her feel stupid and cranky and that just made the nervous energy levels Worse.

"Hey... C'mere?" Duo shifted to the side a little, twisting back so he was sitting properly and patted the little bit of seat next to him.

There wasn't much he could do. But he could try and help keep her calm. At least he could try.

She blinked, blushing a little as she got up, shifting over to squeeze into the seat next to him with a soft sigh. "It's really stupid, and I hate it," she grumbled, but him? She couldn't have hated him if she tried, and he always seemed to know just the right way to soothe her nerves when they were riled up.

Especially when there wasn't someone around that she could just punch until she felt better.

Duo waited for her to join him and curled one arm behind her and the other reached down to pull her legs up across his own and then just leg his arm drape across them comfortably.

"I get it. It was a bit weird for me at first too. But think of it from his point of view. He doesn't do it deliberately. He could just be sitting there feeling his own feelings and then suddenly he's got someone else's intruding. He'll get these thoughts and things that just aren't his. I'd bet that's kinda scary to deal with. I think he's tried to learn to block a lot of things out..." He smiled gently, kept his voice soft and soothing. "Keeping calm is key with him."

She settled against him like she was designed to fit there, letting out a long sigh as she listened... but that last part. That last part got him a deadpan look. "Telling me to keep calm is like asking the wind not to blow during a storm," she replied dryly.

"Is it?" Duo grinned down at her before moving his arm behind her and slowly began to run his hand up and down her back. "I don't believe that. But I'm here for you, Wufei. You've nothing to worry about with me at your side."

"When have you ever known me to keep a cool head?" she asked lightly, settling her head on his shoulder with a little smile. "I know I don't, and I'm grateful for it," she agreed softly. "Whatever I did in a past life to deserve you must've been truly blessed."

Duo chuckled and continued his slow, circular rubbing of his hand along Wufei's back.

"Blessed or cursed. Its a fine line. But whatever the case, just leave Quat to me. Told you that before. Have you fun with him and then just let me handle him." he stopped rubbing her back then and just wrapped his arms around her, holding her close. "No stress, Wu. They're our friends. He won't do anything you won't want. And he sure as hell doesn't know your secrets." because if he had, Duo knew Quatre would have told him.

Whatever magic he was weaving with those circular back rubs, it was working. Some of the tension was easing out of her, and she even found herself smiling a little. "You think so? I'm half expecting him to spoon-feed me my top ten most traumatic moments when we get there," but that brought another thought to mind, and all the tension came right back.

Because there was one secret that she had guarded furiously. "You're sure he doesn't know either of them?" The one she meant to slap him in the face with, and the one she fully intended to take to her grave before sharing it with anyone who didn't currently know.

"Even if he senses some of your emotions, he's not gonna be able to tell what that is. I think he's an empath, not a telepath, Wufei." He sighed. It had almost worked. He'd felt it was almost working until Wufei had gone and sabotaged herself.

"But I can almost guarantee he doesn't know either." If not because he would have told him then because of his confusion in the texts from earlier and what they had meant. If Quatre had any idea of just who Wufei really was he wouldn't have been able to lie like that. Quatre was a terrible liar.
