Ever played out something and then later wondered "What if?" Ever wondered what it'd be like to play your character a different way, but didn't feel like making a full thing dedicated to it? Now's your chance to play it out!

Using RNG you'll roll 1-3 for the level of the change, and 1-6 for the change itself, or if you want, pick your own based on what you wanted to do.

1)  Small Change: The flap of a butterfly's wings can cause tsunami's on the other side of the world.

-1: "A minute too late"- What if you missed something by a minute, or more? You missed the big meeting, the girl, helping that person, all because you were too late, what happens next?
-2: "The nick of time"- Just like the first, only that instead of missing something you got, that if you got something you missed because you were either too late, or just messed up? Congratulations! Let's just hope it's what you really wanted.
-3: "A little too early"- One more, what if you showed up early? It's suppose to be a good thing, is it this time?
-4: "The other choice"- You had two choices, left or right, heads or tails, Coke or Pepsi, now you get to see what would have happened with the other choice.
-5: "Oops!"- You slipped up, and made a mistake. Is it bad, or a blessing in disguise?
-6: Wild card/Pick your own- Thought of a slight change that'd make all the difference, or had one you wanted to play? Here's your chance.

2)  Medium Change: Didn't really see that coming, did you?

-1: Turning point change- That one thing that would have turned things in your favor went against you, and vice versa. How will you handle this critical change?
-2: "A Razor's edge"- That one moment that could have went either way has gone the opposite way of before. Is this a good thing, or a bad thing?
-3: Crossroads- You reached a point in your life where you had several choices before you, now's the time to go down another road and see where it leads.
-4: The Road less traveled- "Two roads diverged in the woods, and I took the one less traveled" Will it make all the difference?
-5: Interference- Something blocked you from getting something you were going for. What do you do once the moment is gone?
-6: Wild Card/Pick your own-Thought of a medium change that'd make all the difference, or had one you wanted to play? Here's your chance.

3)  Large Change: Why do all the people here have goatee's?

-1: Good/Evil- Use to be a good guy? Welcome to the dark side, here's your cookie. Former bad guy? Hand over the cookie tray and join the side of good. How will the change of moral compass change you?
-2: A different person- You're now a completely different person, literally. Are you taller? Shorter? A robot? A pony? Powers? No powers? Your call.
-3: The other sex- Rule!63 is in effect. Now how does this effect your relationships with the other?
-4: A change in history- Something that happened in the past now has completely change or is now gone. One domino toppling the rest. Now that you've changed your past, how will it effect your future?

Duo gave Quatre a funny look as well then. He didn't work on cases so had no idea what was going on. And when he shot Trowa the same look, all he got in return was a mysterious smile that made him want to throw a piece of toast at him. He actually had it in his hand and was really going to do it... but instead he bit into it. It would have been a waste.

"Alright. So when are we gonna do this then? This morning?" He get his fitting done while the others go to the water park and he meets up with them after? It was really the only decent time to do it, if the suit was to be ready in time. Duo wasn't sure how long those things took.

"Oh, I'm very high profile, lots of attempts on my life, very little real danger," Quatre replied dismissively.

And then Wufei was the one shooting Quatre a look, which was summarily ignored.

"But yes, this morning," Quatre agreed. "And then we can all meet up at the water park and enjoy the day, or at least the morning. The sun and heat can get quite harsh in the afternoon."

Duo tore a corner of his toast, looked at it thoughtfully, then threw it at Quatre.

"Don't be an asshole. And get outta the damn limelight if you're risking your damn life!" Did he sound annoyed? Good. He was.

"He is protected." Trowa spoke up calmly. He wouldn't deny he didn't like Quatre being so at risk, but security was tight, Quatre was as protected as he could be. It had worked so far.

Duo just shook his head and brushed it off. "Then we'll do that, I guess."

Wufei let out a laugh at that, and the scolding. "He is protected, but I'm with you on this one," she agreed, thumping her leg against Duo's under the table as she finished off her breakfast.

Once they were all finished, Quatre got up and led Duo and Trowa off to one of the cars, while Heero and Wufei took another -- though she gave Duo a quick kiss before they parted ways. And then it was off to the tailor's to get put up on a dais and measured every which way for the suit. Quatre held up a few nearly-identical black suits to Duo before selecting one that was (thankfully) not very expensive. Compared to everything else in the shop, anyway.

Then it was off to the water park, buying a pair of swim trunks, and seeking out the cabana that Wufei and Heero had claimed for them. Wufei was lounging on a lounging chair with a blue, gauzy sarong around her hips and a bright red one-piece suit, there was the big floppy hat on her head and sunglasses over her eyes as she sipped at some sort of blue drink with an umbrella, cherries, and a chunk of pineapple hanging off the rim. Heero was elsewhere, probably already in the water.

Duo actually hated it.

He didn't like some guy getting all up in his business. He didn't like standing around having someone touching him. He didn't know how Quatre could deal. Or Trowa. But he supposed at least one of them had been brought up to be okay with this kinda stuff.

But he handled it well. He didn't murder anyone at least. He did his best to keep a smile on his face and bantered like a pro, chatting about nonsense he couldn't even remember after he'd left.

And then they were off to the water park. Which was a huge relief. It was even something of a relief to get out of his clothes and into a simple pair of black trunks. He wasn't fussy, he could have gone for patterns or something funny. He'd seen one with rubber duckies on! But in the end he went for simple black.

He headed out to find Wufei and found her lounging. Duo grinned and began walking over, but slowed to a stop on actually seeing her. Once again he was struck by just how beautiful she was. It was so... so weird. Not long ago she'd been their friend Wufei, a man. And even then he'd been a hell of a beautiful looking man. But somehow, after shedding off that persona, on relaxing, she had softened her edges. She looked, well... she looked more feminine. Something Duo was very certain she was aiming for.

She was breathtaking.

Duo carried on walking, taking himself all the way over... where he bent down, stole one of her cherries from her drink, and then dropped himself onto the lounge chair beside her.

"I almost feel like I cheated on you today." Duo remarked as he popped the cherry in his mouth. "That guy touched me up one side and down the other!"

Feminine was absolutely the name of the game, and it was part of why her hair was down, feathered across her shoulders as he came over and stole her cherry. She pulled the sunglasses down, a little smirk pulling at her lips as she watched him eat it. "Then I guess it's a good thing you've already eaten my cherry," she replied smoothly, and managed to keep a straight face for almost ten seconds before grinning at him.

"And at least that means you've got your measurements done, don't have to do it a second time if you use a different suit for our wedding," she didn't think he was terribly likely to gain or lose much weight before then. She took another sip from her drink before setting it on a little table between their chairs and sat up. "What do you think? I looked at the bikinis, but I didn't like the idea of everyone else seeing so much of me," she wanted to save that for him alone.

"Damn right it is." Duo smirked and then winked over at her before he dropped back onto the lounger and crossed his arms behind his head.

He nodded in agreement over his measurements. It was done now so he wouldn't need to worry much about it later on, which was fine by him! It was weird. The next question though. Duo had to open eyes that had fallen closed in relaxation so he could look over at Wufei. He deliberately looked her over, even though he'd seen her as he was walking over. Up close she was... there were no words.

"You look amazing." Duo finally said, eyes rising to hers and his smile wide. "The red suits you. And I like the one piece. Bikini's are the obvious choice but don't leave much to the imagination. You? You've got sexy and mysterious down to an art."

She beamed at him, because she knew he meant it and not just because he liked her in the first place -- though she was sure that helped. "Have I? Good, then all those years in disguise are paying off," she decided lightly, crossing her legs at the ankle and looking him over.

"I've gotten sunscreen everywhere I can reach, but could you get my back?" she asked lightly, tossing him the bottle of sunscreen and releasing the sarong so she could turn to show the plunging back of her swimsuit.

"Ah, you've picked a good one," Quatre announced lightly as he and Trowa arrived, rubbing sunscreen into his arms as he came over, wearing light blue trunks that brought out the blue in his eyes.

Duo pulled his arms back just in time to catch the bottle of sunscreen. He laughed and sat himself up. "Sure thing, Princess." He was grinning as he stood to move across to perch on the seat behind her, just in time to catch Quatre and Trowa coming their way.

And burst out laughing.

Quatre looked fine.

Trowa?

Duo might have avoided the novelty trunks but he had picked a pair of trunks with a magic lamp on the front. And words. Of course there were words. 'Keep rubbing, you just might get your wish.' The fact Trowa looked so calm and serious, like he had done nothing wrong at all, made it all the funnier.

"I agree. It suits you, Wufei. Something amusing to you, Maxwell?" Trowa glanced his way with a twitch of a brow and the smallest of smirks. As if he had no idea what had Duo giggling.

Wufei looked over when Trowa spoke, and burst out laughing when she saw his trunks. "Thank you," she replied lightly, "but I think your suit might be a little more... flirty." She pulled her hair over her shoulder so Duo could get all the way up her back.

With a grin, Quatre perched on the foot of Wufei's lounge chair, pouring more lotion into his hand. "They're quite accurate," he replied primly.

"Something wrong with them?" Trowa looked down at himself, then up with both brows raised. "I thought they were... whimsical."

Duo snorted. "Sure you did." He was grinning while pouring the sunscreen onto his hands, gently rubbed them together and reached out to smooth the lotion over Wufei's back and shoulders. Down her spine slowly and then up again, palms flat, firm but gentle, giving her a little massage as well.

"I like them." Trowa was smiling now and dropped himself down onto the chair Duo had not long vacated. They wouldn't all fit on Wufei's, after all. So he confiscated this one for himself.

Wufei leaned into the massage with a happy little sound. "They suit you rather well," she decided lightly, pulling her hat off and setting it on the chair next to her, looking over her shoulder at Duo. "I think I like Duo's better, but I suppose I am biased. What do you think, should we hit the lazy river first, or the slides?"

"I think we're all a little biased," Quatre agreed warmly.

Duo's smile softened when Wufei looked back at him, he couldn't help leaning in to press a kiss to her cheek and then her lips. "Slides then river. Have our fun then relax. And yeah, I'm easily biased and not ashamed."

"Are we supposed to be ashamed of that?" Trowa had stretched out his legs and pulled out a pair of sunglasses from somewhere to slip them on.

"I certainly hope not," Wufei replied warmly after returning Duo's kiss. "Because I refuse," she let out a playful huff and stuck her nose up.

Quatre bent over to lotion up his legs, laughing softly as he did. "I don't think I could be ashamed if I tried," he decided lightly. "Trowa, come here and do my back, would you?"

Duo chuckled and brought his hands up to Wufei's shoulders, rubbing gently before he smoothed his hands down her arms. "Glad to hear it. Now, when do you wanna go, love? I came here to have fun."

"You're not having fun, Duo?" Trowa teased, already on his feet and moving to Quatre's side. Since there was no room on the lounge chair, he crouched at Quatre's side and held his hand out for the lotion.

"Just as soon as we've lotioned you up enough to ensure you don't turn into a lobster on me," she replied lightly, turning around and putting some of the lotion in her own hand, rubbing it between her palms so it wouldn't be too cold. "Turn around."

Quatre poured a bit of his own sunscreen into Trowa's hand with a smile. "That just means we get to hog the chairs while they're gone," he grinned.

"My turn, huh?" Duo grinned and did as he was told, since he was a good boy. He even reached back and pulled his braid aside so it hung over his shoulder. Though now sunscreen had been mentioned he realised he should probably cover the rest of himself... So he grabbed the bottle Wufei had set aside and began applying some to his face and arms.

"You raise a good point." Trowa chuckled. He'd shifted to the side so he could reach his lovers back and began rubbing the lotion onto pale skin he would rather not see burned to a crisp. Not the day before their wedding anyway. "When they leave I'm pushing the chairs closer together."

“Mmmhmm,” Wufei agreed lightly, rubbing the lotion into Duo’s back and shoulders, massaging him as diligently as she’d received, leaning in to kiss his shoulder before spreading the lotion over the spot. “And just don’t spill my drink when you do that, or you can replace it.”

“I make no promises about not drinking it,” Quatre teased, rubbing lotion into his neck. He’d sunburned enough times to know all the sneaky spots he needed to add lotion to.

Duo groaned softly. Wufei was very good at what she did, it was almost enough to have Duo changing his mind about going into the water... But he knew that would lead to bad habits. And the water would be fun. He could see what else those talented hands of hers could do later on.

Trowa just laughed. The drink would not be there when Wufei returned. But it would be replaced. They were here to have a good time, after all. That included relaxing, unwinding and having a few drinks. And when Heero joined them, he would have to enjoy a couple of drinks as well. That guy needed to relax as much as the rest of them.

As luck would have it, the cabana was on the edge of the lazy river, and it was at just that moment that Heero floated past in a white innertube, wearing forest green swim trunks, sunglasses that matched Wufei's on his face and a fancy drink of his own in one hand. Apparently he was treating the relaxation assignment like a mission.

Wufei would have been tempted, if she'd thought there was a suitably private place in the park, but as things were, she resisted the urge to touch in ways that she knew would entice him in that direction. "All done back here. Make sure to get your legs and feet," as she reached for his ears, to make sure those were properly protected, too.

Trowa, catching sight of Heero as if he had summoned him with his thoughts, had to hold back a laugh. He lightly tapped Quatre's shoulder and pointed in that direction. Whether Heero was treating the vacation like a mission or not, he looked relaxed, and that was good enough for him.

"Way ahead of you." Duo laughed. He'd already made it from his thighs to his knees when Wufei reached for his ear. A shiver ran through him and he bit down hard on the inside of his cheek, but said nothing. Just took a deep breath and concentrated on getting the rest himself lotioned up so he go have fun with everyone and not have to worry about peeling skin later.

Quatre beamed when he saw Trowa, waiving at their friend and laughing warmly as Heero waved back. "Looks like we're all taking a break for real," for the first time, and together to boot. "We should do this every year, it's positively delightful."

While she'd had no idea what she was doing, Wufei certainly noticed Duo's reaction and filed that information away for later, instead adding a bit more lotion to her own face. "Good, then we can go see if these slides can live up to the hype."

"I think that's a good idea." Trowa eased his arms around Quatre from behind and dropped his chin onto his loves shoulder. "Maybe a different place every year, but all together." Because they all damn well needed it. And one week out of the year didn't seem much to him.

"I'm game." Duo called over after clearing his throat and straightening up. "One big vacation every year with all of us? Sounds great!" He was grinning when he pushed himself up to his feet and let his braid drop back behind him. Then he reached out a hand to Wufei. "Ready?"

"Each year a different one of us should pick the spot," Quatre decided lightly. "I can rent out a villa or something else with sufficient security, and we can just enjoy whatever's in the area, even if it's just each other." It sounded perfect to him.

"I'll come," Heero called, as he started rounding a bend in the river.

"Me, too," Wufei said as she accepted Duo's hand and got to her feet. "Ready."

"Sounds like we have a deal." Trowa said warmly. He was happy they had decided to do this. Happy Heero had agreed. Having everyone together this way was really nice. Knowing they were all having a good time felt even better.

Once Duo had her on her feet, he grinned and brought her in for a kiss. "Alright, guys. We'll see you later." With a laugh he turned, keeping his hand within Wufei's he started walking away from the cabana. It was time to find the biggest and baddest waterslide and make it their bitch.
