Ever played out something and then later wondered "What if?" Ever wondered what it'd be like to play your character a different way, but didn't feel like making a full thing dedicated to it? Now's your chance to play it out!
Using RNG you'll roll 1-3 for the level of the change, and 1-6 for the change itself, or if you want, pick your own based on what you wanted to do.
1) Small Change: The flap of a butterfly's wings can cause tsunami's on the other side of the world.
-1: "A minute too late"- What if you missed something by a minute, or more? You missed the big meeting, the girl, helping that person, all because you were too late, what happens next?
-2: "The nick of time"- Just like the first, only that instead of missing something you got, that if you got something you missed because you were either too late, or just messed up? Congratulations! Let's just hope it's what you really wanted.
-3: "A little too early"- One more, what if you showed up early? It's suppose to be a good thing, is it this time?
-4: "The other choice"- You had two choices, left or right, heads or tails, Coke or Pepsi, now you get to see what would have happened with the other choice.
-5: "Oops!"- You slipped up, and made a mistake. Is it bad, or a blessing in disguise?
-6: Wild card/Pick your own- Thought of a slight change that'd make all the difference, or had one you wanted to play? Here's your chance.
2) Medium Change: Didn't really see that coming, did you?
-1: Turning point change- That one thing that would have turned things in your favor went against you, and vice versa. How will you handle this critical change?
-2: "A Razor's edge"- That one moment that could have went either way has gone the opposite way of before. Is this a good thing, or a bad thing?
-3: Crossroads- You reached a point in your life where you had several choices before you, now's the time to go down another road and see where it leads.
-4: The Road less traveled- "Two roads diverged in the woods, and I took the one less traveled" Will it make all the difference?
-5: Interference- Something blocked you from getting something you were going for. What do you do once the moment is gone?
-6: Wild Card/Pick your own-Thought of a medium change that'd make all the difference, or had one you wanted to play? Here's your chance.
3) Large Change: Why do all the people here have goatee's?
-1: Good/Evil- Use to be a good guy? Welcome to the dark side, here's your cookie. Former bad guy? Hand over the cookie tray and join the side of good. How will the change of moral compass change you?
-2: A different person- You're now a completely different person, literally. Are you taller? Shorter? A robot? A pony? Powers? No powers? Your call.
-3: The other sex- Rule!63 is in effect. Now how does this effect your relationships with the other?
-4: A change in history- Something that happened in the past now has completely change or is now gone. One domino toppling the rest. Now that you've changed your past, how will it effect your future?
-5: Giving up- You walked away from something important to you? Do you regret it? Are you happy?
-6: Wild Card/Pick your own- Thought of a large change that'd make all the difference, or had one you wanted to play? Here's your chance.

"You raise a good point." Trowa chuckled. He'd shifted to the side so he could reach his lovers back and began rubbing the lotion onto pale skin he would rather not see burned to a crisp. Not the day before their wedding anyway. "When they leave I'm pushing the chairs closer together."
no subject
“Mmmhmm,” Wufei agreed lightly, rubbing the lotion into Duo’s back and shoulders, massaging him as diligently as she’d received, leaning in to kiss his shoulder before spreading the lotion over the spot. “And just don’t spill my drink when you do that, or you can replace it.”
“I make no promises about not drinking it,” Quatre teased, rubbing lotion into his neck. He’d sunburned enough times to know all the sneaky spots he needed to add lotion to.

Trowa just laughed. The drink would not be there when Wufei returned. But it would be replaced. They were here to have a good time, after all. That included relaxing, unwinding and having a few drinks. And when Heero joined them, he would have to enjoy a couple of drinks as well. That guy needed to relax as much as the rest of them.
no subject
Wufei would have been tempted, if she'd thought there was a suitably private place in the park, but as things were, she resisted the urge to touch in ways that she knew would entice him in that direction. "All done back here. Make sure to get your legs and feet," as she reached for his ears, to make sure those were properly protected, too.
no subject
"Way ahead of you." Duo laughed. He'd already made it from his thighs to his knees when Wufei reached for his ear. A shiver ran through him and he bit down hard on the inside of his cheek, but said nothing. Just took a deep breath and concentrated on getting the rest himself lotioned up so he go have fun with everyone and not have to worry about peeling skin later.
no subject
While she'd had no idea what she was doing, Wufei certainly noticed Duo's reaction and filed that information away for later, instead adding a bit more lotion to her own face. "Good, then we can go see if these slides can live up to the hype."
no subject
"I'm game." Duo called over after clearing his throat and straightening up. "One big vacation every year with all of us? Sounds great!" He was grinning when he pushed himself up to his feet and let his braid drop back behind him. Then he reached out a hand to Wufei. "Ready?"
no subject
"I'll come," Heero called, as he started rounding a bend in the river.
"Me, too," Wufei said as she accepted Duo's hand and got to her feet. "Ready."
no subject
Once Duo had her on her feet, he grinned and brought her in for a kiss. "Alright, guys. We'll see you later." With a laugh he turned, keeping his hand within Wufei's he started walking away from the cabana. It was time to find the biggest and baddest waterslide and make it their bitch.
no subject
"And we won't even have to meddle," Quatre said as he watched them go. "I was starting to think they were never going to get together," though he understood now why it had really taken so long.
no subject
He moved over to sit on the lounger and dropped back to stretch out. "I think they look good together." His lips twitched into a small smirk. "They certainly sounded good together."
no subject
He turned his gaze back to Trowa, leaned up to take a little kiss. "Now I seem to recall you saying something about shoving these chairs together."
no subject
"Duo's got a skip in his step too. Though he could do with relaxing some more." The guy was on edge about something, it was clear to see. But he hoped hanging out with Wufei and pitching themselves down rubber tubes and into water would make him feel better. He smiled when he was kissed and returned it softly.
"You've a good memory, my love." He chuckled and pulled away to do just that. He dragged the other lounge chair all the way over and wedged it right up next to the one Quatre sat upon. He had to move it's umbrella out of the way so it could share just the one. But when it was positioned right, he sat himself down on it with a sigh.

After the war, he'd done his research on all of them, though Wufei was the easiest one to get information on. He'd never guessed that he was his own dead wife, but he'd recognized a lot of the politics in her family from others he'd dealt with from L5. "She's very lucky she's a war hero," he said as he joined Trowa on the chairs once more, stretching himself out and scooting down so his feet would poke out into the sun a little. "And even luckier to have him."
Which sparked a thought, and he looked over at Trowa. "I wonder... does this make him bisexual? I'd only even seen him flirt seriously with women before, but he didn't know she was a woman until very recently..."
no subject
"I think that makes him whatever he wants to be." Trowa chuckled. "But I think he was very confused about his attraction to Wufei when we were younger."
no subject
While Duo and Wufei were busy testing the slides and determining that they were probably as much as a civilian could handle. Then it was time for the lazy river, and more drinks, with little umbrellas and chunks of fruit in the top and god wasn't this the life? "I've decided," she said as she settled into her inner tube. "We need to do this more often. This relaxing thing. I didn't know what I was missing out on. Also drinking." She had yet to get drunk, but she was sure she would enjoy it.
no subject
"Stick with me, babe. We can relax like this every day." Duo laughed, knowing it was a lie but... he'd damn well try. They could relax in this way as often as possible. Now they were together, who was going to stop them?
no subject
She took another sip of her drink and sighed happily. "But at the very least, I'll be able to relax when I'm at home with you, hmm? Though that does remind me, we forgot to have that conversation I promised you last night," she sighed.
no subject
"What's on your mind?" Duo had completely forgotten there was any talk that had been promised. So much had happened in such a short time that he knew there was probably a lot they did have to talk about... "I guess we can talk now. You've got me as a captive audience."
no subject
She fell silent as they drifted past a group of people, and when they were more alone, she continued. "I'm pushed through an ornate door, and the guard slams it behind me so hard that I can't stifle the startle reflex, and I hear him chuckle at me."
no subject
He reached out to her then. Taking hold of her hand and listened as she spoke. And when she stopped he said nothing, just waiting for her to continue, knowing he was going to hate this. But he needed to know. He needed to know so that he was better prepared. And because clearly Wufei needed someone to talk to about it. So why not him?
no subject
"He came out of the shadows like a demon, sometimes in the dream his eyes even glow. He put his hand on my shoulder and pulled me into the room. He told me that he'd noticed some different things about me, that he'd worked out that I was a woman, somehow. Even knew my name. And then he injected me with something, never did find out what. It made me weak, slowed my reflexes."
no subject
He didn't know what it was with those bastards and drugging their captives but Duo damned them to hell and back. Moreso Treize. Not that he needed to. If there was a hell he was positive that bastard was already there. After everything he had done... Gods but he hated that man. Duo didn't think he'd hated anyone more than he did that bastard.

And somehow, despite it having happened, despite what had been done to her, taken from her... She'd accepted him. Had welcomed him into her arms, into her heart, into her bed. She'd had a choice then. And he was her choice...
"Wufei..." There was pain in that single word, Duo wasn't going to hide it. He ached for her. For what was done to her. He wished he could kill Treize, over and over. Bring him back and then kill him again. There was only hatred in his heart for that dead man. But only love for Wufei. "... That bastard died too quickly."
