Ever played out something and then later wondered "What if?" Ever wondered what it'd be like to play your character a different way, but didn't feel like making a full thing dedicated to it? Now's your chance to play it out!
Using RNG you'll roll 1-3 for the level of the change, and 1-6 for the change itself, or if you want, pick your own based on what you wanted to do.
1) Small Change: The flap of a butterfly's wings can cause tsunami's on the other side of the world.
-1: "A minute too late"- What if you missed something by a minute, or more? You missed the big meeting, the girl, helping that person, all because you were too late, what happens next?
-2: "The nick of time"- Just like the first, only that instead of missing something you got, that if you got something you missed because you were either too late, or just messed up? Congratulations! Let's just hope it's what you really wanted.
-3: "A little too early"- One more, what if you showed up early? It's suppose to be a good thing, is it this time?
-4: "The other choice"- You had two choices, left or right, heads or tails, Coke or Pepsi, now you get to see what would have happened with the other choice.
-5: "Oops!"- You slipped up, and made a mistake. Is it bad, or a blessing in disguise?
-6: Wild card/Pick your own- Thought of a slight change that'd make all the difference, or had one you wanted to play? Here's your chance.
2) Medium Change: Didn't really see that coming, did you?
-1: Turning point change- That one thing that would have turned things in your favor went against you, and vice versa. How will you handle this critical change?
-2: "A Razor's edge"- That one moment that could have went either way has gone the opposite way of before. Is this a good thing, or a bad thing?
-3: Crossroads- You reached a point in your life where you had several choices before you, now's the time to go down another road and see where it leads.
-4: The Road less traveled- "Two roads diverged in the woods, and I took the one less traveled" Will it make all the difference?
-5: Interference- Something blocked you from getting something you were going for. What do you do once the moment is gone?
-6: Wild Card/Pick your own-Thought of a medium change that'd make all the difference, or had one you wanted to play? Here's your chance.
3) Large Change: Why do all the people here have goatee's?
-1: Good/Evil- Use to be a good guy? Welcome to the dark side, here's your cookie. Former bad guy? Hand over the cookie tray and join the side of good. How will the change of moral compass change you?
-2: A different person- You're now a completely different person, literally. Are you taller? Shorter? A robot? A pony? Powers? No powers? Your call.
-3: The other sex- Rule!63 is in effect. Now how does this effect your relationships with the other?
-4: A change in history- Something that happened in the past now has completely change or is now gone. One domino toppling the rest. Now that you've changed your past, how will it effect your future?
-5: Giving up- You walked away from something important to you? Do you regret it? Are you happy?
-6: Wild Card/Pick your own- Thought of a large change that'd make all the difference, or had one you wanted to play? Here's your chance.

"No one could mistake you for an old man, Duo." Trowa teased lightly, he'd moved his free hand across to cover Quatre's hand upon his thigh, completing the circuit. Quatre held his other hand from the arm Trowa had across his partners shoulder while Trowa was holding the hand at this thigh. It came full circle. It made him very happy. "There will be no interrogation, Wufei. Though for the record, Quatre is the bad cop."
no subject
Quatre hummed happily. "Just a lot of relaxation and enjoyment and maybe a few quick mentions of politics but I am, for the most part, taking this as vacation, myself." His first one, really, since leaving his home colony. It had been a very long time coming.
no subject
"Then ours will shake you to the core." Trowa intoned seriously. "We offer you... tea. And sometimes, these small wafer cookies. If Quatre hasn't eaten them all." But he smiled. Because yes, this was a vacation for them as well. They had decided that this week they would take it easy. And while Duo and Wufei did their thing, they shall do theirs and enjoy the much needed down time.
no subject
"I've not eaten a single one in three days!" Quatre protested. He'd sworn them off, specifically to make sure Duo and Wufei could try them. The limo started slowing, and he leaned up to press a quick kiss to Trowa's cheek. "We'll show you to the guest rooms, and leave you to yourselves until dinner time. I hope lamb kebabs are alright?"
no subject
"The cookies are sweet." Trowa chuckled, then smile when he was kissed. "Yes, you've been very good, my heart. Not a single one." While his words could have been considered sarcastic, his tone was warm and tender. He knew Quatre hadn't touched any and wouldn't lie about it. He just liked teasing him about it.
"Is Rashid making em?" Duo asked with a grin. "That guy knows his way around a kebab!" Or meat in general. He was a master of the bbq.
no subject
"He is, as a matter of fact," Quatre beamed. "They're officially family bodyguards now. They take turns escorting my sisters to any high-profile functions and spend the rest of the time down here, enjoying everything the earth has to offer," and he was rather proud that he was able to be a part of it. "So don't be surprised if you see a few of them around, but they're all off duty unless credible threats come in -- or the urge to barbecue strikes."
no subject
"Oh yeah. The race." Trowa snickered. "You never got him to cough up?"
"Completely forgot!" He grinned at Wufei. "He thought he was faster than me. He wasn't! He might have me on strength, but on speed? Hell no!"
no subject
"He's still calling you a dervish," Quatre added with a grin as the limo eased to a stop, and the driver came around to get the door. "Never mind that you weren't spinning."
no subject
Trowa chuckled and eased himself away from Quatre to slip out of the door. "Just be careful you don't trip over your own feet." He shot back.
"As if I'd ever do that!" Not with Wufei watching him.
no subject
Quatre followed Trowa out, letting out a happy sigh as he stepped into the hot, sunny weather. "I'm so glad we decided to base ourselves here," he said, for what had to be the millionth time.
Wufei was next, bag hanging from one hand, the other shielding her eyes. "It's certainly warm."
no subject
"It's cooler inside." Trowa assured the other two, understanding their complaints. The heat was something that was tricky to get used to. He had, to an extent. But still liked sitting under the AC or in the pool in the shade to get away from it from time to time.
no subject
"Oh, you do," Quatre assured. "Except the sandstorms, I've never quite gotten used to those."
And Wufei nearly tripped. "Sandstorms?"
no subject
"They don't last too long. The worst is a day at most." Trowa looked over his shoulder at the two as he offered his reassurance.
no subject
Quatre laughed. "We don't have the luxury of scheduling weather down here, but the forecasts aren't consistent with any major storms hitting this week."
no subject
"And no worms. That I have seen." Trowa added for Duo's benefit.
"Phew!" He made a show of wiping his forehead from relief and then laughed. "So Quatre can't look up and instantly tell what the weather is going to do? I thought there wasn't anything you didn't know?" Duo teased. Of course there were things Quatre didn't know. But that Space Heart of his should have been more useful. Like being able to tell the weather.
"Dry and hot. That is the weather here." As well as the occasional sandstorm, but those were not a common occurrence in Trowa's opinion.
no subject
"There are, in fact, things I do not control or know about," Quatre flashed a grin, and nodded at Wufei. "As you've expertly demonstrated today, in fact."
Even Quatre had to let out a sigh of relief as he stepped into the massive mansion, a servant holding the door for them all with a little nod to each. "Your rooms are just down this way," he gestured to the left, and started leading the way down the hall. "Though it occurs to me now that you might prefer to share one."
no subject
He made himself laugh though, even as he moved a little closer to Wufei's side to allow his arm to brush hers. "Heh I guess that's true. I wonder what else we can surprise you with." Duo teased. Though his words came back around to bite him with Quatre's next words. He glanced at Wufei with a look that said 'it's your call'. He had been happy sleeping beside her last night but if she wanted time alone then Duo was fine with that. In private was one thing. But under the gaze of others, even their friends, Duo didn't want to make assumptions.
no subject
"Alright then, this is you," Quatre came to a stop outside an ornate door, white with gold inlay, and pushed it open for them. Inside it was more browns and reds than the rest of the estate, and clearly had been selected with their comfort in mind. The door may have been ornate, but the interior of the room was more plain and functional. More comfortable for people unused to old European-style homes. "We'll send someone to fetch you for dinner, but there are maps of the house in the desk drawer. You've free reign of the estate, just don't tinker with anything in the garage," which he said while grinning at Duo.
no subject
"No promises." Duo grinned back at Quatre.
"We can save that for later in the week." Trowa, arms crossed and leaning against the doorframe, gave a faint smile.
Duo flashed him a thumbs up before he tossed his bag onto the end of the bed and approached with an eye to launching himself onto it. "Guess we'll see you for dinner then!" And then... he flopped right across that plush bed with a happy groan.
no subject
With a nod, Quatre turned to head back the way they'd come, glancing up at Trowa as he did. "What do you think about playing some croquet? I think I saw a set in the shed yesterday evening," and his voice faded as he turned the corner.
Wufei took her bag to the dresser, pulling open the first drawer and starting to unpack. "If you toss me your bag, I'll get everything in the dresser for you."
no subject
Duo had his arms stretched out to either side, his eyes closed and looked to be trying to relax into the soft mattress. He had to groan a second time when he sat himself up and aimed a smile Wufei's way. "Can't that wait till later?" He asked but he still got up and grabbed his bag to carry it over to help.

It didn't take him long before he'd turned and moved in behind Wufei. He slipped his arms around her and dropped his chin onto her shoulder with a smile. "They're beautiful. You're gonna look amazing in them."
no subject
When his arms came around her, she smiled and leaned back into the embrace with a happy hum. "I'm a little nervous. I've never worn these kinds of dresses before," she admitted. "But I did feel very nice when I tried them on. Being able to look the way I'm meant to is such a relief," she sighed, lifting a hand to settle it on his head, fingers mingling with his braid.
no subject
"We'll have fun tonight and even more fun tomorrow. And no more hiding. You can be who you want to be now." He wondered at what point she'd take on her own name, or if she would officially take on Wufei's instead? It was completely her choice of course, as she found herself she'd work it out. Duo would support her every step of the way.
