Some things don't need explanations. Chicken wings. Wonderful weather. Guilty pleasures like Michael Bay movies. This meme is one of those things. It's simple: one character is in another's lap, and eventually the two get hot and heavy. Whether it's a friend sitting on a lap because there's no room, couples cuddling, or a stripper giving a lap dance, one thing will lead to another...after all, the loss of personal space can certainly set actions (and more) in motion.

"So you have had a wet dream, huh? Least we know it's in working order! What were you dreaming about, care to share?" Of course Duo knew Wufei wouldn't share, he was teasing. His laughter proof of that.

But it was Wufei's next line that really got Duo's attention. 'Try whatever you like', dare he? Dare he try?

Duo twisted around and pulled his legs up onto the seat beside him, kneeling next to Wufei. "What do I get if I win?"

Wufei leaned away almost comically when Duo knelt on the seat. "You're not going to win," he growled out, but his fight or flight instinct was kicking in now, and screaming at him to get out of there.

He needed to shut up, really, really shut up right now. Right this second. He was for a brief moment distracted as he tried to do the math on how much alcohol he had in his system and whether or not it was safe to drive. Running might be the coward's way out, but right now it was his only viable option.

The thing is, Duo had drank plenty enough that he was thinking this was an amazing idea and very little about the consequences. The mor Wufei protested the more Duo believed that the was a challenge and that he had no choice. He had to prove Wufei wrong! What kind of friend would he be if he didn't?

So it was with a smirk that he darted forward and threw a leg across Wuefi to bring himself into his lap. He sat astride him, facing him, arms draped over Wufei's shoulders and a much wider, smug grin plastered across his face. He leaned in and whispered into Wufei's ear. "Challenge accepted."

Wufei, too, had drank too much for his own good. Enough that he was no longer as swift or as coordinated as he normally would. Which is why that little stunt of Duo's worked, and also why he let out a very peculiar sound not unlike that of a balloon leaking helium. "Bastard!" he hissed, not least because he could already feel the heat starting in his chest, and his hands went down to Duo's hips, intending to shove him off, but.

He was drunk. And now he was touching Duo's hips. Which was very close to his ass. And that was just making his entire brain short-circuit. He was forgetting even to breathe as his hands just sat there, way too close to Duo's ass.

"Uh-huh, I'm a bastard." Duo agreed cheerfully.

And to prove it he shifted his hips, a little bump and grind wouldn't go amiss, right? He breathed a low, husky sigh when he felt warm, strong hands grab at his hips and fully expected them to push. But the longer they remained the more Duo liked it. Except for one little thing.

He pulled his arms back and reached for those hands. He maintained eye contact with Wufei as he pushed those warm hands of his further down.

"Don't tease me, Wufei. If you wanna touch then touch." or maybe Duo was the one being a tease? It was probably the latter. But he was having fun. And getting his point across, he thought. Let's see if Wufei could maintain his control now?

Control? What was that? Never heard of it. Wufei's face went dark crimson as his hands slid down, and over the curve and. "Fuck," he wheezed, as he immediately lost the bet. How the fuck was he supposed to prevent an erection when Duo was doing all of that to him???

And you know what? Duo was gonna get his prize right now. His fingers squeezed firmly as he threw caution and good sense out the goddamn window, leaning in to kiss Duo firmly.

Duo felt the moment he won the challenge but didn't get a chance to be smug and rub Wufei's nose in it before he found his mouth covered with another's. Lips on his. A kiss that...

Duo's eyes widened and for a heart stopping second he froze and the world froze with him.

But then Wufei's lips moved and so did the world and before Duo could stop himself he'd moaned, moaned and pressed himself against Wufei. Once more his arms rose, linking around the others head and shoulders while he kissed back, hungry and needy and with just a hint of drunken passion.

This was a mistake. Even drunk, Wufei knew this was a mistake, but he couldn't stop himself from making it, holding Duo close as he let his hormones take the wheel for once. For a couple of minutes, anyway.

Until the bartender came over, leaning over the bar and clearing his throat loudly. "Settle your tabs and go get a fucking room," he said, sounding almost bored with the whole thing as he slid their tab receipts over.

Duo near jumped out of his skin when the bartender cleared his throat. And his comment earned him a death glare worthy of Heero Yuu himself. He leaned back and arched in a way that showed off just how flexible he was, and grabbed the receipts.

"Fine." his voice was a little on the husky side as he turned his attention to Wufei and smirked again. "Mind grabbing my wallet outta my back pocket?"

Wufei jumped, too, his face crimson as he retrieved the wallet and handed it to Duo before fishing his own out and putting his card down on his share of the bill. "I hate you so much right now," he hissed under his breath. On top of losing the bet he'd never agreed to, now he was being publicly humiliated by the bartender.

And, you know. His own goddamn hormones.

Duo just laughed and have a deliberate shift of his hips against a certain part of Wufei's anatomy that clearly didn't hate him.

"Sure about that?" With wallet in hand, he pulled out a few bills and slapped hem on the table with Wufei's card and then shot another glare at the bartender. "Now how about you kindly fuck off? We'll leave when we're good and ready."

Wufei groaned softly. "Very, very sure," he agreed.

The bartender smiled blandly, running Wufei's card and taking Duo's cash. "Go get a room, or I'm calling Yuy. This isn't the first time your friend's caused more trouble than he pays us to put up with."

And then Wufei was glaring at the bartender, too, as he accepted his card back.

"Call him." That was a hollow threat against Duo. He'd take that challenge too if needs be! And as drunk as he was, he knew he was going to remember this bartenders face. And he knew he was going to give him hell when he wasn't so preoccupied. The bastard didn't know who he was messing with. Or maybe he did and thought he was safe because they were tipsy? Duo didn't care. He just knew he was gonna find him and kick his as.

With a pout he pushed himself back and up and hopped his ass up onto the edge of the table behind him, legs dangling either side of Wufei's.

"NO!" Wufei nearly yelled. "No, do not call him. We'll leave," he said firmly. The last time Heero had dragged him out of the bar he'd gotten road rash and a black eye.

He sighed with relief as Duo removed himself from Wufei's lap, and squirmed his way out of the seat before offering Duo a hand down, even though they both knew he didn't need it. "My apartment is closer. We're walking." They were both Too Drunk to drive and he didn't trust Duo not to get handsy in the back of a cab right now.

Duo's brows rose at the outburst. Wufei was afraid of Heero? What the hell? So boring...

He let Wufei wriggle out and even grinned when the hand was offered. He took it and slid down from the table. Before they left he shot the bartender a dirty look... and stuck out his tongue. Because he was a fucking adult and didn't need some stuck up prude telling him where he could and couldn't have fun.

"I need to find another bar." Duo muttered in annoyance. "And find where that guy lives and blow it the hell up. Then kick his ass. Ruining my fun... He picked the wrong guy to piss off!" Said the guy who was currently leaning against Wufei's arm because for some strange reason the world seemed a little more tilted than it usually was.

Wufei wasn't often afraid of Heero, but he was too drunk to be able to win, or even draw, if it came to fisticuffs with him. And Heero used that to his considerable advantage.

"That was my bar. The one you go to is across town," Wufei reminded him, leading Duo down the sidewalk. It was just a few blocks, but it was damned uncomfortable. Enough for him to at least temporarily resolve his problem, anyway. "It's just a couple blocks and a flight of stairs to my apartment. And I have whiskey if you want to drink more when we get there."

Yeah, well, Duo was drunk. He'd fight dirty!

"Your bar with one less homophobe." Duo pulled a face and entertained himself with all the fun ways he was going to make that guy scream... Until he was distracted by Wufei offering him more drink. He finally straightened himself up and laughed. "You're really offering me more booze? I figured you'd wanna get as far away from me as you could now I'm not sat in your lap."

"He's not a homophobe, he kicks out anyone who starts dry humping in his bar," Wufei replied dryly, and shook his head as Duo straightened up.

"It is a clever ploy to keep you in my apartment until you sober up. You're too drunk to go home alone, and I'm not drunk enough to just let you anyway."

"That's homophobic! Not like I was gonna fuck you right there in front of everyone, sheesh!" At least not now... Maybe he would have been able to sneakily done something or other, but that bastard bartender had ruined all of his fun.

"I'm not too drunk to go home." Duo protested with a pout. "I could get a cab. Could probably drive too. I've flown with a concussion and lived to tell the tale!" There was some pride to his words, but at the same time... he kind of wanted to go with Wufei. So despite his protests he'd found himself grabbing ono Wufei's shirt to stick close to his side.

Wufei went absolutely crimson when Duo said that. "It's not homophobic, he'd done it to half a dozen straight couples that night already. And we're not even a couple," he said firmly.

He snorted at Duo's protests. "If you get behind the wheel of anything with an engine right now, I'll arrest you, and take you to a Preventer's holding cell that even you can't get out of." He guided Duo across a street after looking both ways. Luckily there wasn't a lot of traffic -- most of it was going down the cross-street by the bar. "We're going to my apartment, you're going to drink some water, take some aspirin, and go to bed." Or they were going to end up frotting on the living room floor.

"Yeah, well, he did it to me, so I'm pissed off!" And stop pissing on his parade, Wufei. Get angry too!

"You'd have to tie me up reeeal tight if you don't want me getting away." Duo pointed out with a smirk. Then rolled his eyes at Wufei just being an utter downer. "Fine, mom... You were more fun when I was sat in your lap. Guess it's true what they say..."

"Better to be pissed off than pissed on," Wufei agreed blandly, curling an arm around Duo's shoulders and pointing him at a flight of stairs as they reached his apartment building.

"I promise not to throw away the key," Wufei replied with a shake of his head. Which was a mistake, as he staggered sideways a little. "What do they say, Duo?"

"... He'd have pissed on us?" Duo looked at Wufei in shock, the comment completely distracting him from the fact that Wufei had hooked an arm around his shoulders.

It was good he did though, because when Wufei stumbled Duo was able to make a grab for him too, and kept his arm around his waist. Then he grinned. "That guys only have enough blood to run one brain. And yours was fuelling your fun brain. Now you're a fuddy-duddy again."

Wufei snorted at the question and didn't bother answering it. They were both much too drunk. "You're an idiot," he decided blandly, getting Duo to the stairs and started nudging him up them. "When we get upstairs you can test your theory," he replied as he struggled to navigate his stairs while drunk. "But not until we're inside with the door locked, okay?"

Well that was a dumb thing to say when a guy was on the stairs.

Duo didn't think, he just spun around to face Wufei to make sure he'd just heard him right. Or was he so drunk he was imagining things? He didn't think he was but Wufei wouldn't be suggesting that they continue where they left off, would he?

The problem was that Duo didn't get to ask. He yelped instead as his foot slipped and he dropped right into Wufei's arms.
