IN YOUR LAP

Prompts
- Innocent Lap Sitting: It's just a friendly gesture. Maybe you're enjoying a movie or a dinner together. Nothing wrong with that!
- Romantic Canoodling: You two are spending some time together, and there's no way to be closer than to snuggle up in your lover's lap.
- Out of Necessity: No more room on the bench, in the booth, or on the couch? There's a place on their lap.
- Amateur Lap Dance: Just something sexy between lovers. Or maybe more silly than sexy.
- Professional Lap Dance: Better break out the ones. This lap dance will cost you.
- Dare: Nobody ever thought you'd get this close and personal, so they pushed you into doing it.
- Pointed: They said you couldn't turn them on so easily. Challenge accepted.
- Accidental: Oops, you've fallen! Good thing this lap was there.
- Step Back I Feel a Little Poke: Wait. What's this? Maybe you should wiggle your hips a little to find out.
- Lovemaking Lapsitting: Riding someone while they're sitting up can make the rider feel powerful, since they're on top, but the one being ridden may notice just how soft and small they are...and embrace them out of instinct.

"Stop being an idiot. Can I only like you in your dreams? Can you only be honest with me if you don't think I'm real? That blows, Wu. Means when you sober up you're gonna ignore me again, huh? Pretend this never happened? Nope. Not gonna accept that. So get it through that thick skull. I. Like. You. Fuck, more than that, I love you." the words came easy, even if they were words he'd never said aloud before. He'd fancied Wufei for ages now. Alcohol had loosened his tongue but his words... "And I never lie, Wufei."

"It's a good time to sleep, yeah. C'mon, I'll tuck you in." And he'd be good as well. Kissing was fine. But with Wufei being drunk and not even sure that what was happening was real, Duo wasn't about to try anything else.
He pulled back, stepping back and out of Wufei's arms so that he could take his hands instead. "Show me where your room is, Wu?"

He'd let go of his hand when they entered and watched him get into the bed. Duo just rolled his eyes and stepped up to the bed to yank down the blankets so he could put them over Wufei. "Going to bed fully dressed, huh? You'll regret that. But you look comfy enough so..." Duo smiled and did as he'd promised, tucking the blankets in around Wufei. "Get some sleep, yeah? We'll talk tomorrow."

"Hope you don't regret too much..." And then he left the room. The door was kept open a crack and Duo took himself to the living room. The whiskey that Wufei had left on the counter didn't go to waste. He sat himself down on the sofa and nursed that drink for several hours, lost in thought, before he finally fell asleep curled into the corner of the sofa.

His head still felt like an overripe melon trying to split, but it didn't stop him from realizing Duo was in his living room. On his couch. He stood there, staring dumbly at Duo as his brain rewound over the night before, tracing every memory he had -- and he remembered everything, right up to face-planting in his bed. He went to the hall closet and returned a moment later with a blanket, approaching cautiously but not silently to gently tuck it over Duo.

His eyes flashed open and focused upon the face in front of him. But for a a second he wasn't sure just who he was seeing. For a second he saw an enemy and if it wasn't for the blanket hindering his movements and the alcohol still in his system, he might have done something very stupid.
But between one blink and the next, his brain caught up with what he was seeing and Wufei was there. Duo relaxed and let his eyes fall closed again. "Mornin, Wu."

"I could sleep... But you're awake so... Coffee's be great. I'm just gonna lay here and wait if that's okay?" because no, he might have avoided the hangover if he'd stopped when he'd had the chance. But that glass of whiskey had taken him over the edge. While his headache wasn't going to ruin his day, it was bad enough to make him want to remain prone for a whole longer.

He got some congee going while he was at it, and cut up a chunk of smoked pork belly, tossing it with sugar, maple syrup, and a little cayenne pepper before sticking it in the oven to roast while he cut up some green onion and otherwise kept himself busy so he wouldn't have to think about how much his head was hurting.

Though it wouldn't last for long. The warm scent of cooking would rouse him before long with the rumbling of his stomach.

As soon as it was done, two bowls of congee piled with the candied pork belly and the green onion, with a little drizzle of sesame oil, he brought it to the table and stuck two spoons in it, settling into one of the seats with his own mug of coffee.

"Note to self. Whiskey isn't my drink." He reached out then, grabbing the pills and coffee to take some and washed them down. Only then did he take a deep breath and open his eyes properly to find Wufei sat across from him. "Hey, Wu. Uh...thanks for doing all this. Its appreciated, man. Really."

Duo chuckled softly and put the coffee down in favour of the food. Which he brought with him onto the sofa. He'd wrapped the blanket around his shoulders and burrowed into it to eat.
"So you remember, huh? And this is an apology... That mean you regret everything after all?" Duo tried very hard to sound as nonchalant as he could, but there was a slight edge to his tone. He wasn't sure he wanted to hear the answer. He was feeling delicate enough that he just wasn't emotionally prepared. But asked anyway.

But those words never came.
"Hey... Wufei?" Duo called over softly, a slight tremble to his voice. "Mind gettin your ass over here?"

He settled next to Duo with a sheepish smile, and just a hint of blush. "Yes?"

"I stand by what I said last night. I wasn't lying, Wu. Might've used drink as an excuse... But I swear I was telling the truth."

Duo lifted his head and moved to press a kiss of his own, his was at the corner of Wufei's lips. "Love you. Thanks for believing me." because it meant so much to have someone believe him. Even more to have someone love him. It was terrifying and it was amazing. And all because he'd hopped into his lap and did his best to give him a boner.

It was still one of the best nights of his life.
