The tells had been subtle. A little streak in the dust here, the tiniest change in a lock's alignment there, but it had all added up to something that was, to Wufei, rather obvious. Still, he didn't bother paying it any attention until the shuttle had rumbled its way out of the atmosphere and into the levity of space.

Once autopilot was engaged, he drifted back to the cargo hold, easing open the compartment he was sure Duo had squirreled himself away in, and dangled a single-dose packet of painkillers into the cramped space. The sort that were strong enough to work on a Gundam Pilot, even. "I hope you have a compelling reason for being back here, instead of the cockpit where we have proper restraints," he said dryly.

[The day had been nice until a sudden storm rolled in without any warning, ruining a few plans Tooru had for meeting up with friends. The rain came down quicker than he'd expected once he saw the clouds roll in, running to whatever was nearby for shelter. Though he's gotten drenched nearly to the bone by the time he's made it, and luckily the contents of his bag are dry and has a sweatshirt in there just in case of a storm, if he's remembering correctly. Even his normally fluffy hair is sticking to him, making him look somewhat pathetic.

He doesn't, however, expect to see Iwaizumi in the same shelter, but he's glad he's not stuck with Ushijima.]
