[Just his luck, stuck in an elevator with none other than Kageyama. Well, Tooru can deal with this until the floor he wants and just be quiet and pay attention to his phone. At least he's got a conversation going with some friends in a group chat, so there's a distraction.

Until the worst happens, they're alone and the elevator stops and the lights go out, the only light at the moment being the emergency lights.

Tooru doesn't like being stuck in closed spaces, never has, and he's learned to keep that from showing to anyone.]

Son of a bitch... You've got to be kidding me, we were almost to the next floor.

[Kageyama had, until he was joined in the lift by one of the few people who bothered him more than Hinata, been stood before the bank of buttons to the floors. Now he stood at the back of the lift doing his best to pretend he was anywhere else. Thankfully Oikawa wasn't paying him any mind either. It made it somewhat easy to cast covert looks that way...

When the lift jerked to a stop, Kageyama cursed under his breath and threw out a hand to brace against the wall. The lights went out and dim ones replaced them. He looked up at the light and then down to the floor panel. While Oikawa was moaning about it, Kageyama stepped over and pushed a few buttons. Nothing worked, so he hit the emergency call button.]

[Fortunately Tooru'd kept his balance, even if barely, when it jerked to a stop but he did watch as Kageyama pushed buttons in vain. That definitely did not do anything to stop Tooru's mind from wandering before he nipped that in the bud quickly before anything too intrusive creeped up.

Luckily the lights were dim so Kageyama didn't have to see the eye twitch, surprisingly not directed at him as Tooru nodded and fired a quick message to the group chat that he's now stuck in an elevator and to call for someone to come to where he was stuck.]

Mmm.. you do that Tobio. [A deep breath masked as a huff.] Sent a message to friends to call someone. Dunno how long we'll be stuck here, don't waste any phone battery with calls if you can help it.
