Yukimura loved his home. Had spent time and energy into making it the perfect space for him. But he would give it all up in a heartbeat to make Sanada happy.

Sanada thought about the Sanada estate. He thought about his role there...and how it was now going to change.

"That's a decision I haven't decided yet. It's...right now. It's painful to think about. I can't take over the dojo..." at least, not in an active way that would be fair to potential students.

"I didn't mean taking over, Genichirou. I meant living. But if the thought of the dojo is painful for you then please, you are welcome to remain here with me. I have more than enough room." Yukimura reached up with both hands to cup that sweet, lovely face. "Take the time to decide."

Sanada nodded, placing his hands over Yukimura's. "I won't rush. I do need time to think...but if you could come with me to gather some things, it would make it easier..."

"I'll come with you. But maybe tomorrow?" Yukimura suggested kindly. There was no rush for that, either. "There may be a shirt or two of yours left here that should tide you over until the morning."

Sanada had to agree. He was exhausted. "I suppose you're right. It will give Grandfather some time to cool off as well." He sighed. "It's been a very long day."

It would give them both time to cool off, if Sanada really had laid waste to the dojo.

"Should I set up a spare room for you?"

"Can I..." Sanada stopped himself. No, he was already asking Yukimura for too much. "Y-yes, that's fine."

Yukimura let his hands drop from Sanada's face to rest upon his chest and, quite despite himself, he laughed.

"Yes, you may." He replied, answering the unfinished question.

Sanada blinked. "I didn't even finish my question..." He said, tilting his head. "What if I was asking something unreasonable?"

"I don't believe you would ever ask me for something unreasonable." Yukimura mimicked him with a tilt of his head, he looked like he wanted to laugh again. Something about this was just very amusing to him.

"Even sleeping in your bed tonight?" Sanada asked, his stomach twisting in knots. He thought it was unreasonable, but he was a silly man.

He really was a silly man. One that Yukimura loved deeply.

"Not an unreasonable request at all. I'd hoped you'd want to." Yukimura lightly patted Sanada upon his chest. "I offered the spare room in the hopes you would tell me no, that you wanted to stay with me."

Sanada blushed. "I do...I want to stay with you." He honestly didn't think he could sleep alone tonight.

"I'd like you to do that." He was blushing again. He was so very cute. Sanada had no right to be so cute.

Once more Yukimura reached up so he could take his face into his hands and pulled him down to kiss his cheek. "I'm putting my foot down, Genichirou. You are staying with me tonight."

Sanada smiled softly. He turned his face to gently kiss the tips of Yukimura's fingers. "Yes, Sir."

"Good boy." Yukimura answered with deep affection in his voice and in the smile he gave Sanada.

That smile was so dangerous. Sanada smiled back, an unsteady smile. "Do you need to eat before bed?"

And yet he was so very innocent. Maybe? He would be, at least for his Sanada.

"I am fine for now. I ate earlier." Yukimura let his hands drop to take one of Sanada's. If he was asking about bed now, then he must still be tired. And if he was still tired, then he would take him to bed. And that was just what Yukimura did. He turned and walked, pulling his friend along with him through the house and to his bedroom.

Sanada followed obediently, not letting go of Yukimura's hand. He would sleep in his clothes if he had to, but he was tired. As for eating without dinner, Sanada would make it up to Yukimura in the morning.

Clothes would not be needed for bed. His room was warm enough, his bed comfortable enough. Once they were inside, Yukimura glanced at Sanada before he let go of his hand in favour of approaching the side of the bed. Once there he started with unbuttoning his shirt.

It was no big deal. They had seen each other like this many a time. Yukimura was not shy in this. Sanada was an important person to him. The one he knew as well as he knew himself. The man he trusted above all else.

But he still thought he should offer, if Sanada was feeling shy. "There might be shirts of yours in my closet, if you wanted to wear something to bed? If not..." A soft smile. "I can keep you warm."

Sure, they had seen each other in the locker room many time, but they never really laid in bed unclothed together. Still...he trusted Yukimura, and he didn't normally sleep clothed anyway.

"I should be fine as long as you are."

Yukimura chuckled softly as he removed his shirt and draped it over the back of his chair.

"Sweet Genichirou. Of course I'm fine. I'm with you." He felt comfortable, completely at ease, even as he unbuttoned and then sat on the bed to remove his pants.

Sanada nodded and began disrobing himself. He neatly folded his shirt and trousers, setting them in a chair before sitting on the bed. The day was rushing back to him, leaving his body feeling heavy.

Yukimura, once he was ready, pulled back the covers just before Sanada sat down. He moved around to the other side of the bed to stand before Sanada and with a gentle push of his shoulder, eased him down onto the bed.

"Lie down. Rest now." He bent to help him then pulled the covers close. When Yukimura was satisfied, he took a few seconds to turn off the bedroom light before sliding into bed to join Sanada. A little wriggle and he was up close to his side.
