Clothes would not be needed for bed. His room was warm enough, his bed comfortable enough. Once they were inside, Yukimura glanced at Sanada before he let go of his hand in favour of approaching the side of the bed. Once there he started with unbuttoning his shirt.

It was no big deal. They had seen each other like this many a time. Yukimura was not shy in this. Sanada was an important person to him. The one he knew as well as he knew himself. The man he trusted above all else.

But he still thought he should offer, if Sanada was feeling shy. "There might be shirts of yours in my closet, if you wanted to wear something to bed? If not..." A soft smile. "I can keep you warm."

Sure, they had seen each other in the locker room many time, but they never really laid in bed unclothed together. Still...he trusted Yukimura, and he didn't normally sleep clothed anyway.

"I should be fine as long as you are."

Yukimura chuckled softly as he removed his shirt and draped it over the back of his chair.

"Sweet Genichirou. Of course I'm fine. I'm with you." He felt comfortable, completely at ease, even as he unbuttoned and then sat on the bed to remove his pants.

Sanada nodded and began disrobing himself. He neatly folded his shirt and trousers, setting them in a chair before sitting on the bed. The day was rushing back to him, leaving his body feeling heavy.

Yukimura, once he was ready, pulled back the covers just before Sanada sat down. He moved around to the other side of the bed to stand before Sanada and with a gentle push of his shoulder, eased him down onto the bed.

"Lie down. Rest now." He bent to help him then pulled the covers close. When Yukimura was satisfied, he took a few seconds to turn off the bedroom light before sliding into bed to join Sanada. A little wriggle and he was up close to his side.

Sanda was touched at the care that Yukimura was taking with him. He relaxed into the pillows, letting his body ease up. Once Seiichi was at his side, he laid an arm across Yukimura. "Thank you, Seiichi."

He had promised he would look after him, and Yukimura had been serious about that. It made a change as Sanada often looked after him.

Once he was settled and comfortable enough, Yukimura let his head rest upon Sanada's shoulder and closed his eyes, his own arm curling around his friends middle. "You are more than welcome, Genichirou."

Resting in Seiichi's arms, it was easy for Sanada to fall asleep. While tomorrow was bound to be stressful, he could at least relax for the night.

Yukimura remained awake for a long while, just watching over Sanada with the worried little frown he'd been repressing from the moment he'd gotten his phone call. This was going to be tough. But there was one thing for certain and that was that Yukimura would not leave Sanada's side. No matter what.

It was almost an hour or two of thinking or just gazing over Sanada before Yukimura finally drifted off to sleep, with his head pillowed upon the others shoulder.

Sanada managed to sleep through the night, only waking up when his alarm went off at 5 am. He groaned and turned it off, then turned to look at Yukimura.

The other man was a blessing. The future was terrifying, but he was less scared now than he had been before he visited Yukimura. He gently brushed hair from Yukimura's face, looking at him fondly.

Yukimura had only woken once through the night to use the bathroom and get a drink of water, but slept beside Sanada for the rest. He may have slept for longer had Sanada not woken him.

The touch was more than enough. Yukimura was something of a light sleeper. The brush of his hair brought a sleepy smile to his lips and a quietly mumbled. "Morning, Genichirou."

"I didn't mean to wake you..." Sanada said softly. "Just thought you looked so peaceful." Watching Yukimura helped bring him peace. "Thank you again for yesterday."

Yukimura stretched his arms up and curled them around Sanada's neck. "I feel peaceful. Thank you for staying with me last night."

Sanada smiled, happy to hold Seiichi as they laid there. "Nevermind the stress of yesterday, I have never slept as well as I did last night."

"Do you think it's something you would like to do every night?" Yukimura opened his eyes to see that smile which did lovely things to his heart.

Sanada couldn't help but touch Yukimura's cheek with his fingertips. "I really can't imagine anything better."

Yukimura's eyes fluttered closed at the touch, his smile softening. "That makes me happy. I rather liked you being here." Like a huge, warm teddy bear for him to cuddle.

There used to be a time, when they were still young and full of tension and unease, that Sanada would never think they could be this relaxed. Even given the situation, he was more content than he had ever been.

"Wherever we decide to stay, we stay together. I won't be able to sleep without you anymore."

He leaned into Sanada's touch with a happy sort of sigh.

"Of course we stay together. There is no one else I would rather be beside." And anywhere they would live, so long as they were together, he knew they would be happy.

Sanada smiled softly. "I'm sure, if he hasn't disowned me for wrecking up his dojo, that grandfather would be happy to see you today." His grandfather always did have a soft spot for Seiichi. His whole family did. "However, if we did decide to move to my family's compound, we would never get a moments peace."

"Perhaps not." Yukimura reached up a hand and softly, gently brushed his fingers through Sanada's hair. "Then we're lucky that we have here as an option. I am happy to split my time between them both." Why limit themselves to just the one home when they has two that would welcome them?

Sanada closed his eyes, content. "I hadn't thought about that. I think I would like that." He was a bit of Mama's boy, after all. "Let's do that."

Yukimura would never have attempted to take Sanada from his family but did understand the need for some separation. So he smiled and continued to lightly brush the tips of his fingers through his partners hair. "Then it is settled. You have two homes. I think I can share you. Just a little."

Sanada laughed softly. "You'll have to do even less sharing than before." Being out of commission physically, he was bound to have more time for Seiichi. With time, he would find a way to make money, and to fill in the gaps left by tennis and Kendo. "If anything, Grandfather might try to steal you more often for shogi and tea."

"I think I like that. I think, for once, I would like to be very selfish when it comes to you." And keep him close. If only so he could ensure that Sanada looked after himself better now.

Yukimura gave a low laugh and smiled. "I would be happy to do that if it meant getting him off your back for a while."
