MOVE IN TOGETHER meme

After months and months of dating, or at least love/lust from afar or admitted chemistry, you and your special someone are moving together. Maybe it's into your dream home, maybe it's one of your places, perhaps it's a hole in the wall and the only place either of you could manage. Still, it's yours, and that makes everything more than all right. You're on your way to domestic bliss - or will you both realize that living together can mean a few more disagreements and a few less rose-colored glasses than there were together? Cooking and cleaning and other chores for two are no easy job. And, of course, you have to be prepared for a greater level of intimacy, in whatever form that takes.

How to Play

Comment with your character, gender preference, and any preferences such as no smut, fluff only, yes smut, angst, etc.
Reply to others.
Feel free to play any scenario, any angle, any scene taking place from the moment of moving in onward. You don't even have to really play it straight - maybe your characters are having to live assumed lives and under new identities.

Loki was doing his very best to ignore the fact that he was earning himself one or two curious looks. He was, after all, a grown ass man hanging around a high school campus. He supposed he could have used an excuse if anyone asked but luckily for him no one had approached him yet or asked him what he was doing outside of the students dorms.

Yuuta was back in his room gathering the rest of his things while Loki made room. While it was a little nerve-wracking he couldn't deny he was excited to. His young lover would be moving in with him. It was quick yes, but not nearly as sudden. It was a few weeks after they'd first spoken about having Yuuta come and live with him and in that time Yuuta had stayed over a few nights. He'd spent the weekend and gotten to know the house, the grounds and the people within. Still wishing to move in with him, they had started the process.

He'd made some space on the back seat and turned to lean against his car as he waited. Sleek and black and clearly expensive, with a stuffed little white bunny sitting in the front window. Loki was looking very dapper himself in most of a suit. He'd taken his jacket and tie off and unbuttoned the top two of his shirt buttons so as not to seem as stuffy.

Coming out with the two boxes crammed full and the duffel bag with his clothing on his back, Yuuta wove through the sparse crowd of students toward his lover's car. It was easy enough to spot Loki, especially the way he was lounging so sexily against the shiny black car. Once he reached the man, he grinned over the top of the boxes. "Hey. Hope I didn't keep you waiting for too long."

"I'll wait forever if I must." Loki replied warmly with a smile that could light up a room. He pushed himself away from the car and stepped up to Yuuta to take the boxes from him. "Is this everything?"

He turned and bent to push the boxes into the space he'd made on the backseat then secured the boxed with the seatbelt so that nothing would topple over.

Taking the duffel bag off of his back, Yuuta put it on the floor of the car before turning to Loki. "Yep, that's it! I didn't have much in my dorm, so this is it." He wanted to give his lover a hug or a kiss, but in front of his school mates would likely not be wise.

Once the duffel was down Loki closed the door and straightened up. There really wasn't much and to Loki that was a strange thing. Mainly because over the years, over the many years, he'd amassed a great many things that would need trucks to ferry from one place to the next, not just a car.

"Then we're good to go." Loki's smile softened and he tossed the teen a wink. He would have loved to kiss him too, but he liked to think he had some willpower over his hormones.

Chuckling to himself he stepped back and opened the passenger-side door for his lover. "After you~"

Yuuta smiled warmly as he turned to get in the front seat. He paused for a second, seeing the bunny on the seat. Picking it up, he sat down and buckled up, admiring how cute and soft the plush was.

Loki walked around the other side after closing the passenger door and climbed into the drivers seat. He grinned. "Merlie bought that for me a few years ago. She said I shouldn't be alone and needed someone to keep me company. So bought me Snowdrop." Seeing Yuuta holding the little bunny though made him very happy.

"Well, Snowdrop is very adorable." Yuuta beamed, toying with the bunny a bit. On a childish whim, he made the bunny face Loki and wave at him. "I'm surprised that Pan and Nocturne haven't commandeered Snowdrop."

"Snowdrop stays in the car so the cats don't get to play with him." Loki laughed and lifted a hand from the wheel to give the little bunny a wave back and then bopped his little felt nose. "He'd been a good companion. Doesn't complain but he does have a little road rage problem"

Yuuta laughed at that, turning the bunny back to face him. "Tsk, road rage isn't a good thing to have. What a naughty bunny."

"He looks innocent and sweet but he doesn't like being cut off." Loki was managing to keep a straight face and he was very proud of that fact.

Yuuta's laughter didn't stop, he was shaking in his seat. "Well, that's no excuse." He could barely get the words out through his mirth.

"No it is not. But don't let those innocent glass eyes fool you, Yuuta. There's a reason I keep him locked in the car!" It was a lovely sound, Yuuta's laughter. He could have listened to it all day if he could.

Loki smiled and reached across to flick one of Snowdrops floppy ears. "Even though he has anger issues he really is nice to have around. Be careful though... He might get jealous of you since you're my new favourite."

Leaning back in the seat, Yuuta giggled himself breathless. "I'll just have to cuddle him to make up for it." The bunny was adorable, so it wasn't a hardship. And he could cuddle the toy while Loki was busy driving.

"Hmm... Maybe I'll be the one to get jealous instead?" He glanced across at his lover, a playful smile curving his lips. He wasn't about to get jealous over a little bunny. But he might.

"You might be. Unless you hire someone to do the driving for you." Yuuta smirked, cuddling the bunny to his chest.

Loki laughed. "A driver? A little extravagant just for an excuse to cuddle you. We'll be home soon and since Snowdrop needs to stay inside I'll have you all to myself. I can wait till then." He had money, more money than he knew what to do with. But Loki wasn't that flashy about it. Besides, he enjoyed driving himself.

"I'm sure I'll survive until then, too. After all, I have Snowdrop to keep my company until then." It was fun to tease his lover, and something Yuuta didn't get a chance to do very often.

He was well aware of what Yuuta was trying to do... and Loki was annoyed with himself that it was working. His hands had tightened a little upon the wheel and he had to take a slow, deep breath.

Then he reached out and gently swatted his lovers knee. "Torment... Careful, I might decide to sleep on my own tonight."

Yuuta reached over and rested his hand on Loki's knee. "I doubt you will. Who would keep me warm if you did that?"

"Snowdrop?" Once again he risked taking his eyes off the road to flash a grin over at Yuuta.

Yuuta laughed again. "I thought Snowdrop has to stay in the car."

"Pan then?" He was grasping at straws now but he didn't care, what he did care about was how warm Yuuta's hand felt upon his knee. Loki moved a hand and dropped it to cover his.

Yuuta stroked Loki's knee a little, purposely teasing his lover. "Of course I'd snuggle with her. And Nocturne, too, if he wanted."

"Then you clearly have no need of me." Loki pointed out calmly with just a hint of a smile. Yuuta was still tormenting him and while he was driving it wasn't fair at all.
