Of course it is. After all, I'm with you.

[ Sephiroth leaned in and made to place a chaste kiss on her temple. It was nothing compared to the way he indulged her last night, but it wasn't meant to be. Not at this moment.

His eyes practically glowed with the morning light and, if she paid close attention she would notice he was looking at her with the single minded obsessiveness he usually reserved only for Cloud. ]

[Dammit, why did that do strange things to her heart. There was a flutter within her stomach, a quickening of her pulse. But why...

A kiss. Soft upon her temple, pulling her gaze back toward him. It was a mistake. She was caught by those glowing, cat-like eyes just as she had been before. There was something almost hypnotic in his eyes, in the way he looked at her. And something that spoke to the strangest of her needs. The need to be someone's everything. To be their focus. He looked at her in a way that made her feel wanted in every single way.

And that was her mistake. He'd exploited a weakness he could never have known she possessed. And it had made last night so easy for him...]

[ Sephiroth meant the Lifestream, of course. Digging around in other people's heads and learning things. After all, he'd prepared for this very moment. One could not be blamed for misinterpreting his words as an endearment though, especially because he chose that very moment to fold her into his arms. ]

[She sucked in a sharp breath when she was pulled into his arms. Her eyes closed and, after a brief hesitation, she lifted an arm and curled it around his neck and buried her face into his shoulder.

This was all so crazy. But there was something comforting about the arms around her. There shouldn't have been. This was probably all a huge mistake that would never happen again. But for that moment... she could indulge, couldn't she? She could pretend, just this once, that the person holding her actually cared about her.]

[ Sephiroth's lips twitched into a smirk at that and he pressed her to him a little harder. Although this was all part of his plan, he was also getting burned. He was far too possessive for anything less. Thankfully, with his iron control and willpower he contained himself to holding onto her as if she were his lifeline--something that would come to pass soon enough--and smelling her hair. ]
