[ The Lifestream is everything and everywhere which is why it takes a good long moment for Sephiroth to realize he is no longer inside it. This is chiefly because he notices that the stars which he so often contemplates are completely different. Sephiroth ponders them for an indeterminate amount of time before a noise interrupts his train of thought. It's nearby and very loud and insistent. He turns his gaze just enough to see some gigantic monster barreling his way and, of course being Sephiroth, he doesn't move an inch but rather whips Masamune out almost too fast for the human eye to see and cuts it in half. Momentum then carries the two pieces of the monster to either side of Sephiroth, who still hasn't moved, and crashing through the forest behind him.
It's only after returning his gaze to the stars for a moment that he sights another intruder out of the corner of his eye. This time, it's a human.
Sephiroth turns to look at him without expression and then because he actually can be direct when he wants to be: ]
